Mobility Equity
Take the New Mix Mobility Equity Survey & Make Your Voice Heard!
The New Mix Study team is launching a Mobility Equity Analysis to examine the transportation options for Waterbury-area residents and commuters that exist outside of the use of personal motor vehicles by assessing the existing conditions for pedestrians, bicyclists, and public transit users.
The Mobility Equity Analysis includes a survey to gather information about the experiences of Waterbury-area residents and commuters in relation to safe, convenient, and accessible pedestrian and bicycle routes and public transit options.
The results of the Mobility Equity Analysis will be used to identify and prioritize areas of improvement to bring about more safe, reliable, and convenient transportation for all Waterbury-area residents and commuters.

What is Mobility Equity?
Mobility equity can be defined as a transportation system that aims to meet the needs of all community members, especially those without access to personal motor vehicles. Mobility equity exists when all transportation users have access to safe, affordable, and convenient transportation options such as frequent public transit and safe, welcoming pathways for pedestrians and bicyclists.
